I been havin' some hard travelin',
I thought you know.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Way down the road.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Hard ramblin', hard gamblin',
I been havin' some hard travelin', Lord.
I been workin' in a hard rock tunnel,
I thought you know
I been leanin'on a pressure drill,
Way down the road.
Hammer flyin', air hose blowin',
Six feet of mud, I sure been a-goin',
I been havin' some hard travelin', Lord.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
I thought you know.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Way down the road.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Hard ramblin', hard gamblin',
I been havin' some hard travelin', Lord.
I been havin' some hard harvestin',
I thought you know
I been hittin' some rough handlin',
Way down the road;
Cut that wheat and stack that hay,
Tryin' to make about a dollar a day,
I been a-havin' some hard travelin', Lord.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
I thought you know.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Way down the road.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Hard ramblin', hard gamblin',
I been havin' some hard travelin', Lord.
I been hittin' that Lincoln Highway,
I thought you know
I been hittin' that sixty-six,
Way down the road;
Heavy load and a worried mind,
Lookin' for a woman that's hard to find,
I been havin' some hard travelin', Lord.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
I thought you know.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Way down the road.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Hard ramblin', hard gamblin',
I been havin' some hard travelin', Lord.
I been workin' that Fittsburgh steel,
I thought you know
I been workin' that red-hot slag,
Way down the road.
I been blastin', I been firin',
I been duckin' red-hot iron,
I been havin' some hard travelin', Lord.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
I thought you know.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Way down the road.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Hard ramblin', hard gamblin',
I been havin' some hard travelin', Lord.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
I thought you know.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Way down the road.
I been havin' some hard travelin',
Hard ramblin', hard gamblin',
I been havin' some hard travelin', Lord.
The Brothers Four are an American folk group founded in 1957 in Seattle, Washington. Bob Flick, John Paine, Mike Kirkland, and Dick Foley met at the University of Washington, where they were members of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity in 1956 (hence the "Brothers" appellation). Their first professional performances were the result of a prank played on them in 1958 by a rival fraternity, who had arranged for someone to call them, pretend to be from Seattle's Colony Club, and invite them to come down to audition for a gig. Even though they were not expected at the club, they were allowed to sing a few songs anyway, and were subsequently hired. Flick recalls them being paid "mostly in beer."

Do we want to define "I know you know me" a masterpiece? Yes, without a shadow of a doubt for at least two reasons. The first and most evident are the artists who interpret it: Caroline Spence and Matt Berninger, second for the deep and poetic text.
My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
