Di fatto qui non si parla solo di una band, o perlomeno non come in molti la intendono. Questa storia nasce in una fredda sera di gennaio di otto anni fa: Lero e Carra, rimasti gli unici membri di una promettente punk-rock band modenese chiamata The Burps, decidono di chiamare Mattia e Zillo, due ragazzi che avevano conosciuto qualche tempo prima. Il loro arrivo, però, segna definitivamente le loro vite: ottimi compagni sia dentro che fuori la sala prove, fin da subito danno il loro contributo nel formare quel nucleo che rimarrà inalterato in tutti questi anni, e che si evolverà nel 2012 negli attuali Pecoranera. All'attivo hanno un EP omonimo (2010) e l'album "7 Minuti avanti" (2014), registrati entrambi sotto la sapiente guida di Nicolò Gasparini, frontman e penna degli indimenticati Peter Punk. Il loro suono, infatti, si ispira al punk-rock italiano anni novanta e alla scena americana del periodo, arricchito spesso da testi riflessivi. In più di cento concerti insieme hanno avuto il piacere di condividere il palco con bands di rilievo nazionale e internazionale come L'Invasione degli Omini Verdi (IndieBox) e Useless ID (Fat Wreck Chords). Nel 2018 si ripropongono dal vivo in occasione dell'uscita di "Difetti di produzione", il loro nuovo full-length distribuito da Duff Records e anticipato dall'uscita del singolo "Vortici" di cui viene girato anche un videoclip disponibile sul canale Youtube della band. Da "Difetti di produzione" viene estratto anche il videoclip "Branco".
