Alanu and Ghijvan Francescu Bernardini grew up in the small village of Tagliu-Isulaccia in the far north of Corsica. Their father was a poet-singer. The "paisanu" of the village remember the brothers perched on makeshift stages singing the traditional polyphonies of their region.
