Madrugada is a Norwegian rock band formed in 1997. The name, meaning 'dawn' in Portuguese and Spanish, reflects the band's melancholic and introspective sound. Madrugada's music falls within the realm of alternative rock, with influences drawn from post-punk and electronic music. The original lineup consisted of Sivert Høyem (vocals), Rune Grammond (guitar), Frode Jacobsen (bass) and Lars Horntveth (drums).
