Student Rick era una pop punk band proveniente da South Bend, Indiana, composta da Adam Reiter (chitarra/vokalista), Brett Jones (chitarra/vokalista), Jason Pavilanis (basso) e Zach Davis (batteria). La band è stata principalmente conosciuta per la canzone "Falling for You", estratta dall'album *Soundtrack For A Generation* pubblicato dalla Victory Records, presente anche nel videogioco *Aggressive Inline*. All'inizio del 2002, il batterista Zach Davis si ruppe il piede uscendo dal palco dopo uno show a Los Angeles. "Falling for You" è spesso erroneamente attribuita ad altri artisti come Taking Back Sunday, Something Corporate o The Starting Line in rete. La band si è sciolta nell'ottobre del 2002.
