Yandel, born Llandel Veguilla Malavé, is a Puerto Rican singer and record producer from Carolina, Puerto Rico, born in 1980. He is known for being one of the founding members of the musical duo Wisin and Yandel, considered among the pioneers of modern reggaeton. Yandel's career began in the 1990s with his collaboration with Wisin, forming the duo that dominated Latin American and international music charts for over a decade.
