Cut loose in the dead of night
Broken silence ends
Found long lost salvation
In a last act of despair
Salvation - freed from false delight
Salvation - at the end embraced by light
Long lost freedom
Prisoner of self
Forsaken existance
On the long road through this hell
Holes dug deeperCan't crawl up these walls
Bliss overruled by chaos
Forever all is gone
Passing on to better days
Passing... on to salvation
Finding yourself
At the edge of your life
Burning slowly
Destined to pain you hide
A final journey
Touched by death itself
Redemption for all sins
Of a never forgotten man
Born From Pain is a Dutch hardcore band from the Oostelijke Mijnstreek (part of the infamous M.O.C.) which formed in 1997. Since they formed they have achieved fame through energetic shows and grew out to become the international band they are today. They have toured in all of Europe, in the United States and in Japan. They have shared stages with well-known bands such as Hatebreed, Madball, Zero Mentality, Six Feet Under, Soulfly and Agnostic Front. In March 2007, longtime frontman Che left the band due to personal reasons. He was temporarily replaced by Carl Schwartz, frontman of First Blood, and Scott Vogel from Terror. The band later found a full-time vocalist in Kevin Otto of German Deathcore band, 'End of Days'. But Kevin struggled with his voice so he was replaced by bassplayer Rob Fransen. Andries Beckers of The Setup took over on bass.
