Faye Wong, pseudonimo di Wang Fei (??), è una cantante e attrice cinese nata a Pechino nel 1969. Si trasferisce a Hong Kong all'età di 18 anni per dedicarsi alla musica. Debutta nel 1989 con l'album in cantonese *Shirley Wong*, sotto il nome d'arte Shirley Wong, attirando l'attenzione del pubblico grazie alla fusione tra musica alternativa e pop cinese mainstream. Nel corso della sua carriera, Faye Wong ha esplorato diversi generi musicali, dal Cantopop al jazz, passando per la musica elettronica. È considerata una delle artiste più influenti della scena musicale asiatica, con un seguito di fan vastissimo in Cina, Hong Kong e Taiwan.
