My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult è un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a Chicago nel 1987 da Groovie Mann (artista e performer) e Buzz McCoy (musicista). Inizialmente volevano realizzare un film horror dal titolo "My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult", ma la mancanza di mezzi li spinse a concentrarsi sulla colonna sonora. Il loro sound, una miscela di ritmi dance, dialoghi cinematografici, strumenti dark e voci distorte, attirò l'attenzione del label Wax Trax Records, casa di artisti come Ministry, Front 242 e KMFDM. Nel 1988 pubblicarono il loro primo album, "I See Good Spirits And I See Bad Spirits", un lavoro cupo e inquietante.
