Federica Durante, in arte EFFEDI, è nata a Bologna il 25 marzo 2002. Ha iniziato a studiare canto all'età di 11 anni. Ha studiato anche teoria musicale. A soli 12 anni ha partecipato alla finale del festival nazionale di Piombino. Sempre a 12 anni ha registrato le prime cover, trasmesse da Punto Radio Emilia Romagna, durante alcune interviste; esperienza ripetuta l'anno successivo. Nel corso degli anni ha partecipato a tanti concorsi canori, arrivando sempre in finale. Tra questi il Videofestival live, patrocinato da Mara Maionchi, in giuria Silvia Mezzanotte, Alexia, frequentando anche i relativi stage formativi. Ha preso parte ad un programma televisivo, in onda su Lazio TV e Gold Tv. Il 23 ottobre 2015 ha partecipato a Roma, al Gilda discoteca, come cantante ospite, alla serata di gala dedicata alla rassegna nazionale di Poesia, Prosa, Arte e Spettacolo, premio della cultura della Presidenza del Consiglio dei ministri, organizzata dal CIAC, centro internazionale artisti contemporanei. Ha partecipato al concorso Vocine Nuove di Castrocaro ed al relativo stage formativo. Ha partecipato, come cantante ospite, a diverse manifestazioni per la raccolta fondi per enti e associazioni di beneficenza: per l'ANT (associazione per l'assistenza malati di tumore), in provincia di Modena, per l'oncologia pediatrica del Policlinico di Modena. Ha cantato in alcuni teatri e in manifestazioni di piazza, anche in presenza di circa diecimila persone. Ha fatto serate nei locali. Nel corso del 2022 ha registrato due brani, di cui è interprete e produttrice, musica di IOMA e testi di INDACO e Veglia: Distanti e Portami tra Nuvole. Distanti è uscito il 17 novembre 2022 su tutte le piattaforme digitali. Portami tra nuvole uscirà nel corso del 2023. EFFEDI sta lavorando, sempre con gli stessi artisti, IOMA e INDACO, alla produzione di altri brani.
