El Peyote Asesino is an Argentine rock psychedelic group active since 1994. The band's name translates to "The Peyote Assassin" in English, referring to the magic plant used in indigenous cultures of North America. Known for their experimental sounds and use of traditional South American instruments, they create a unique sound that blends psychedelic rock with folk and world music influences. Among the most notable members is Juan Campodonico, lead guitarist and vocalist. El Peyote Asesino has released numerous albums, including "El Peyote Asesino" (1996), "La Revolución del Peyote" (2000) and "Los Muertos Canciones" (2004). Considered one of the most influential bands in contemporary Argentine rock. Some of their most representative songs are: "El Diablo", "La Revolución del Peyote", "Cumbia de la Muerte".
