Besando tu piel
Y esperas la vuelta del sol
Y das en un segundo
La vuelta al mundo
Y pides que te espere a cenar
Y un año es una hora
Porque no lo valoras
Cuando estás oyendo una flor
Como crece una flor
No importa que suene un motor
Cuando tú no me encuentres
Es que estoy junto a ti
Queriendo aprender a vivir
Francis Cabrel is a French singer-songwriter and guitarist born in Agen on November 23, 1953. Heavily influenced by Bob Dylan, he has released numerous albums that primarily fall within the folk genre, with occasional forays into blues or country. Several of his songs, such as "L'encre de tes yeux" and "Petite Marie", have become enduring favorites in French music. Others, such as "C'etait l'hiver", about the suicide of a young girl, have since been covered by other artists such as Canadian Isabelle Boulay. Among his most important albums are "Les Morts de la nuit" (1980) and "Hors-Saison" (1987). Cabrel is known for his catchy melodies, poetic lyrics, and intense interpretation.
