Steve Winwood (nato Stephen Lawrence Winwood il 12 maggio 1948) è un leggendario musicista britannico noto per la sua poliedrica carriera che spazia dal rock al blues, dal soul al jazz. Nel 1969 formò Blind Faith con Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker e Steve Stills, un supergruppo che registrò un unico album auto-intitolato prima di sciogliersi. Negli anni '70 Winwood intraprese una carriera solista di grande successo, pubblicando album come "Arc of a Diver" (1982) con il singolo "Higher Love", e "Back in the High Life" (1986), che lo consacrò come uno dei più grandi artisti del suo tempo.
