Carl Dean Wilson (1946-1998) was an American musician and singer, best known as a founding member and guitarist of the Beach Boys. Born in Hawthorne, California, Carl began his musical career with his brothers Brian, Dennis, and Mike, forming the Beach Boys in 1961. Carl contributed his melodies and arrangements to the band's success, becoming a key figure in their musical evolution.
