Gonzaguinha (full name: José Antônio de Oliveira) is a Brazilian musician born in 1945. Son of Luiz Gonzaga, the legendary singer and songwriter of forró, Gonzaguinha inherited a passion for Northeastern folk music. He began performing at a young age, collaborating with his father and participating in musical festivals. After the death of Luiz Gonzaga in 1989, Gonzaguinha dedicated himself to his musical career, carrying on his father's legacy and keeping the forró tradition alive. His musical style is characterized by catchy melodies, lyrics that tell stories of everyday life, and an infectious rhythm. Among his most famous songs are "Aquarela do Brasil", "Baião de Dois" and "Asa Branca".
