war so jung und morgenschön,
lief er schnell, es nah zu sehn,

hört er nicht auf das Röslein.

- wie kann man nur so blöd sein!
Der Knabe brach,
das Röslein stach,
worauf es dann zu Knaben sprach:
?Hättste mich mal nicht gebrochen,
dann hätt' ich dich auch nicht gestochen.
Doch versprochen ist versprochen.
Warum machste auch solche Sachen??

Mach' nie ein Röslein tot!
Brich' es nicht! Laß es bleiben!
Denn wenn sich erst die Rose rächt,
geht das mächtig in die Hose, echt!
Erst recht wegen eines Ausrupf-Risikos
reagieren Rosen rigoros.
Also solltest du mal eines Rose sehn,
und ist diese Rose noch so schön,
laß sie steh'n!
Besagter Knabe aber
ignoriert der Rose Tücken.
Er war Schnittblumen-Liebhaber,
und das Pflücken schien zu glücken.
Zwar zerschunden
von Schnittwunden,
stellte er voller Entzücken die Rose in 'ne Vase.
In der Vase war sie wesentlich
von Wasser eingeengt und denkt,
wie sie auf der Wiese,
wo sie lose war versenkt,
Riesen-Rose einst gewesen,
eh sie 'n Knabe haben wollte,
welcher diese wie so 'n Bison
aus der Erde riß. Da rollte
sie die Blätter ineinander,
nebenan der Knabe stand.
Die Pracht der Rose in der Vase
- er sah sie, wie sie schwand!
'Schande!?, dachte er.
?Hätt' ich sie mal nicht gebrochen!
In der Vase blüht sie kurz,
auf der Wiese noch Wochen.?
Diese hochtrabende Erkenntnis
weckt beim Knaben das Verständnis:
Wenn man ein Röslein bricht,
überlebt es meistens nicht.
