The Psychedelic Furs are a British post-punk band formed in London in 1977. The group achieved popularity in the 1980s, led by the charismatic frontman Richard Butler, also the primary songwriter. Their music is characterized by dark and sinister atmospheres, influenced by glam rock and new wave, with often introspective and poetic lyrics. Among their most well-known songs are "Love My Way", "Pretty in Pink" (featured in the film of the same name by John Hughes) and "The Ghost in You". After a hiatus in the 1990s, The Psychedelic Furs reunited in 2000 and continue to perform successfully.
