David Fonseca (born in Leiria, Portugal, in 1973) is a Portuguese musician. Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (including acoustic guitar and organ), Fonseca embarked on a successful music career after starting as a fashion photographer and participating in several exhibitions. His music, defined as pop/rock alternative, is influenced by artists such as Sergio Godinho, Jeff Buckley, The B-52's, Pixies, Roy Orbison, Aphex Twin and Ryan Adams. Fonseca also takes care of the graphics for his albums. Among his most representative songs are "A Minha Música", "O Que Eu Quero", "Fado da Cidade" and "Noite de Estrelas".
