Francis Magalona, better known as FrancisM, Master Rapper, The Man From Manila, Kiko, The Mouth or The Filipino King of Rap, was a Filipino rapper, singer-songwriter and actor. Magalona is considered one of the pioneers of Filipino rap, having introduced the genre to the country and contributed to its popularity. Magalona was also a successful actor, appearing in numerous films and television programs. He died on March 24, 2009, due to brain cancer.
