Steve Winwood (born Stephen Lawrence Winwood on May 12, 1948) is a legendary British musician known for his diverse career spanning rock, blues, soul, and jazz. He began playing music at a young age, joining The Spencer Davis Group at the age of 16. With them, he achieved great success in the 1960s with hits like "Gimme Some Lovin'".
