Wet Willie is an American musical group formed in Mobile, Alabama, in 1969. Their sound, characterized by a fusion of rock, soul and funk, captivated audiences throughout the 1970s. Their greatest success came with the single "Keep on Smilin'", which reached the top ten of the Billboard charts in 1974. Other notable tracks include "Street Corner", "I'm So Glad" and "The Way I Feel". Wet Willie released several albums, including "Wet Willie" (1973), "The Second Coming of Wet Willie" (1975) and "Live at the Roxy" (1976). The band disbanded in 1980 but experienced a revival in the 1990s.
