George Benson is an American guitarist and singer born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1943. Benson has won ten Grammy Awards, including one for Best Jazz Instrumental Performance in 1980 for "Give Me The Night". Among his most important albums are also "The Benson Bunch" (1972), "Love Ballad" (1976) and "In Your Eyes" (1983). Besides his musical career, Benson is known for his work as a composer and producer.
