After studying classical music at the Paris Conservatory, Aufray began his musical career in the 1960s, quickly gaining popularity with songs like "Les Feuilles Mortes" (1963) and "La Maison en Petits Cubes" (1964). His musical style is characterized by catchy melodies, poetic lyrics, and a warm and engaging interpretation. Aufray has collaborated with numerous French and international artists, including Yves Montand and Françoise Hardy. Throughout his long career, he has released over 30 albums, selling millions of copies worldwide.
