Where the air twists and shimmers in the heat
Love take me down, love take me down
Where a pair of lonely ones can always meet
Love take me down, love take me down where I'm longing to be
Love take me down to the streets, love take me down to the streets
Cause when he don't get fed at home, still gotta give your dog his bone
Take our lovin' to the streets
Come on!
Here we stand, open and honest of our deeds
Love take me down, love take me down
I need you but you need something special first from me
Love take me down where I'm so apt to be
Love take me down to the streets, love take me down to the streets
Cause when the love don't work at home, you gotta find it on the road
Take our lovin' to the streets
To the washes and the bridges, to the shadows in the alleys, to the places where the boogaloo sleeps
We do things quite neatly, things that we could never speak of
Cause we've got our love and our secret to keep, ooh yeah
It's time for now, the fire is out as you can see
Love took me down, love took me down
But I'll be back and you've got places to be
Love take me down where I'm longing to be
Love take me down to the streets, love take me down to the streets
Love take me down to the streets (down, down, down)
Love take me down to the streets (love take me down, love take me down)
Love take me down to the streets (bangin' on a streetlight, bangin' on a streetlight)
Love take me down to the streets (bangin' on a streetlight, bangin' on a streetlight)
Love take me down to the streets (bangin' on a streetlight, bangin' on a streetlight)
Love take me down to your streetlight

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
