Gorky Park is a Russian rock band formed in Moscow during the 1980s. The band's name comes from Gorky Park, a popular green area in the capital of Russia. The original lineup included: Alexei Belov (vocals), Nikolay Noskov (guitar), Konstantin Kinchev (bass) and Yuri Shevchuk (drums). Their musical style is a mix of Western rock and Soviet influences, with lyrics often in Russian that deal with social and political themes. Gorky Park achieved international success in the 1990s with their self-titled album *Gorky Park*, produced by Mike Clink, famous for his work with Guns N' Roses.
