My life's not wasted I'm trying to give all that I've got
My life's not wasted I'm trying to love you, I need you
To need what I want
Try not to hurt me with problems 'cause problems
Ain't what I want
They'll just distract me from trying to love you i
Need you to need what I want
I've got to try before I die to make these dreams come true
All those years and all those tears
I have come on thru
I have come on thru
Repeat 1st verse
Graeme Charles Edge (1940-2023) was a British rock drummer, best known for his long collaboration with the progressive rock band The Moody Blues. Born in Birmingham, England, Edge began playing drums at the age of 15 and quickly distinguished himself for his technical and musical skills. In 1964, he joined The Moody Blues, becoming one of the cornerstones of the band's characteristic sound: complex rhythms, orchestral arrangements, and evocative melodies. Edge helped define the musical identity of the group with iconic albums such as *Days of Future Passed* (1967), *In Search of the Lost Chord* (1968) and *A Question of Balance* (1970). Besides his technical ability, Edge was known for his charismatic personality and his creative contribution to The Moody Blues' compositions. He continued to play with the band until 2017, when he retired from the music scene. Among the most representative songs by Edge with The Moody Blues are *Nights in White Satin*, *Tuesday Afternoon* and *The Voice*.
