Kendall Francis Schmidt (November 2, 1990) is an American singer, actor, and dancer. Known for being a founding member of the pop-rock band Big Time Rush, he achieved international fame thanks to the group's successful television and musical endeavors. Schmidt was born in Kearney, Nebraska, and grew up in an artistic family. He began studying music and acting as a child, participating in local theater productions. In 2009, he landed the role of Kendall Knight in the Nickelodeon television series "Big Time Rush", which marked the beginning of his musical career. With his bandmates, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr., and Logan Henderson, he released four studio albums: "BTR" (2011), "Elevate" (2013), "24/Seven" (2014) and "Big Time Rush" (2019).
