Mariangela, known professionally as Emmelle, is an emerging Italian artist. Her passion for music began in her childhood, starting as a self-taught musician and at 17 she enrolled in a music academy where she studied singing and piano. She participated in various talent shows, including "Amici di Maria De Filippi" and "The Voice", reaching the first selections. In 2016 she placed 9th in the #PeopleToFollow #Napapijri contest with 30,582 votes. She won the #YouSound contest on #RadioItalia and participated in #mtvcotm #Mtv, receiving 991,124 votes for her cover. On July 18, 2017, she released her first original song, "Liberi", written by her.
