The Durutti Column è un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi a Manchester all'inizio del 1978. Il gruppo ruota intorno alla figura del chitarrista e compositore Vini Reilly, noto per il suo stile minimalista e sperimentale che fonde elementi di post-punk, ambient e musica elettronica. Considerati uno dei pionieri dell'elettronica britannica, hanno firmato un contratto con la leggendaria Factory Records di Tony Wilson, diventando parte integrante della scena musicale di Manchester degli anni '80.
