Caroline Polachek is an American singer-songwriter and musician known for her electronic and indie pop style characterized by enveloping melodies and introspective lyrics. Born in New York in 1986, she began her musical career as a member of the indie pop duo Chairlift, with whom she released two successful albums: «Something Understood» (2008) and «Moth» (2012). After the group disbanded in 2016, Polachek embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut album «Pang» in 2019.
