Edwyn Stephen Collins (born March 18, 1959) is a Scottish singer-songwriter and musician known for his pop-rock music with indie and psychedelic influences. He began his career in the 1980s as a member of the band Orange Juice, achieving success with songs like "Falling and Laughing". After the band's disbandment, he embarked on a successful solo career, releasing albums such as "Gorgeous George" (1994) and "Building a Rocket" (2000).
