David Michael Navarro, better known as Dave Navarro, is an American musician born in Santa Monica, California, on June 7, 1967. Known for his aggressive and innovative guitar technique, he has achieved international fame playing with prominent bands like Jane's Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Navarro began his musical career in the 1980s, collaborating with several local bands before joining Jane's Addiction in 1986. With them, he helped define the grunge sound of the 1990s, releasing albums such as "Ritual de lo Habitual" (1990) and "Nothing's Shocking" (1988). In 1993, Navarro joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers, replacing John Frusciante. With the band, he recorded the album "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" (1991), considered one of the greatest rock albums of the 1990s. After a brief stint with Jane's Addiction, Navarro dedicated himself to solo projects and collaborations with artists like The Panic Channel and The Ex-Presidents. In 2003, he released his first solo album, "Trust No One". Besides music, Navarro is known for his appearances on television shows like "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" and his experiences in the film world.
