THE DIVINE MADNESS
2006 MAZZECANRIDE MUSIC ASCAP
I've waited so long for the future to come
So many reasons, changing seasons
Of my mind
When all that's left are memories
To make us feel alright
We hold ourselves up to the flame
Hoping to get burned
But it's alright now because
We belong above the clouds
Beyond the satellites
We'll be strong
Together if we put it all
Behind us now
And I will fight so hard
To see through your spiteful words
And you should feel the same
And we can live as one once again
So free from sin
I should have known
This time we'd gone too far
And when it's over I'm wondering who you are
Searching for a savior
To lift us from our lives
We hold ourselves up to the flame
Hoping to get burned
But it's alright now because
We belong above the clouds
Beyond the satellites
We'll be strong
Together if we put it all
Behind us now
And all of my life
I have been waiting to be free
Free from the lies
Free from blind hypocrisy
A journey of light
That leads us for away from home
And into the night, into the world
We stand alone
Until the end
