Strangelove were an English alternative rock band formed in Bristol in 1991. The original lineup consisted of: Mark 'Sparky' Sparkes (vocals), James 'Jimbo' Jones (guitar), David 'Davey' Davies (bass) and Steve 'Stevie' Stevens (drums). The band achieved considerable success in the UK with their debut album, "Strangelove", released in 1993.
