A day in the life of a never ending war
the killing still continues for more than fifty years before
by the time the war has ended a new one's just begun
modern day is just the same no war is ever one
you'd think we'd learn our lesson
but it's so plain to see
same old fate with a brand new date
chalk up the casualties
[Chorus:]
as history repeats
tuesday may 18 1993
how many millions died
by 1945
they claimed never again
but the nightmare's still alive
[Chorus]
how many lives were lost
by the nazi holocaust
see history reappear
ethnic cleansing's here
[Chorus]
commoners kill eachother anotyher racial riot
ethnic cleansing is allright as long as it's kept quiet
the gods have called upon us to kill the hethen kind
The holocaust never happened excpet to the jews it left behind
ignorance has triumphed so its off to war again
color and culture we're all still fucking men
fashionable fascist fucks
war is just for profit
it's all the same to them
they'll send over out children
and fuck us once again
[Chorus]
Aus-Rotten was an American hardcore punk band active from 1992 to 2001. Formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the band was often associated with the underground DIY crust punk scene for its raw and bass-heavy sound, with a street-level atmosphere. However, Aus-Rotten distanced itself from the doomsday and extreme metal influences of many crust punk bands, taking inspiration from 1980s political hardcore and Motorhead. The band members practiced and promoted an anarchist philosophy and far-left sociopolitics. Some of their most representative songs include "The System", "No Future" and "War Pigs".

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
