Lykke Li (born Mette Persson on March 17, 1986) is a Swedish singer-songwriter known for her indie pop music characterized by melancholic atmospheres and introspective lyrics. Raised in an artistic environment, daughter of a photographer and a musician, she lived several international experiences before settling in Stockholm. Her debut album *Youth Novels* was released in 2008, produced by Björn Yttling (Peter Bjorn and John) and Lasse Mårtén.
