Swing Out Sister is a British musical duo formed in 1985. Originally consisting of Andy Connell (keyboards), Martin Jackson (drums) and Corinne Drewery (vocals), the group achieved international fame with the single "Breakout", released in 1986. After Jackson's departure during the recording of the second album, Swing Out Sister became a duo. Their musical style is within the realm of pop music with influences from jazz and soul. Besides "Breakout", other representative songs include "You On My Mind" and "Surrender to the Rhythm". The group has released over 15 albums, achieving success both in the United Kingdom and abroad.
