Münchener Freiheit is a German musical group formed in Munich in October 1980. Their name, literally translated as "Freedom of Munich", comes from a namesake café present in the city. The group achieved success in the 1980s and 1990s with songs released both in German and English, earning international recognition. Among their most notable hits are "Ohne Dich", "Komm zurück" and "Du hast den Wind im Haar". Münchener Freiheit is still active today, continuing to perform and enthrall its fans.
