Berryz Koubou is a Japanese idol girl group formed in 2004 under the Hello! Project label. The group, consisting of five members (Momoko Ogawa, Yurina Kumai, Miyabi Natsukawa, Chinami Hirooka and Mai Hagiwara), achieved great popularity in Japan thanks to their catchy pop music style and energetic choreography. Their songs, almost all written by producer Tsunku, are characterized by sweet and carefree lyrics that have won over a young audience. Among Berryz Koubou's most famous songs are "Koi no Dance Site", "Doki Doki ? Morning" and "Cha Cha Sing". The group released several successful albums, including "Berryz Koubou 1st Album" (2006) and "Berryz Koubou 4th Album" (2009). Berryz Koubou disbanded in 2013 after a long and successful career.
