Marco Renna is a rapper, actor and singer-songwriter born in Bamako, Mali, on April 28, 2009. At the age of two, on March 21, 2011, he meets his adoptive Italian parents and arrives in Milan a few days later. Marco studies, loves football and plays for a team in Milan. He is an eclectic boy with diverse talents and many interests in the fields of technology and the arts. At the age of nine, he opens his own YouTube channel and attends a theater course, also participating in the school choir. In 2021, he was chosen to play the young rapper Paco in the film “Autumn Beat” by Antonio Dikele Distefano, produced and distributed by Amazon Prime Video. The film, which became one of the most viral on the US on-demand platform in just a few weeks, deals with the delicate and complex issue of social integration of second-generation blacks in Italy through the story of two young rappers. One of the most representative scenes of the film sees Marco as the protagonist of a freestyle battle with Tredici Pietro, Angelino Panebianco and Bonys, whose lyrics were written by Ensi, one of the heavyweights of the national scene. This cinematic experience further strengthens his passion for music and the lyricism typical of rap, encouraging him to write and publish “SOLO con pochi”, his first official single.
