I Nanowar of Steel sono un gruppo musicale italiano di heavy metal demenziale, formatosi a Roma all'inizio del 2003. Considerati pionieri del genere 'power metal epico', i Nanowar si distinguono per l'uso di testi ironici e parodistici che spesso riprendono temi classici dell'heavy metal, come draghi, guerrieri e principesse, con un tocco di umorismo autoironico. La musica è caratterizzata da riff potenti, melodie orecchiabili e una forte componente teatrale durante i concerti. Tra le canzoni più rappresentative figurano 'The Glory of the Roman Empire', 'I Am a Warrior' e 'Metal Warriors'. L'album di debutto, 'Nanowar of Steel', uscito nel 2004, ha riscosso un grande successo tra i fan del genere.
