Tomoko Kawase, known artistically as Tommy February6 (and later Tommy Heavenly6), is a Japanese singer-songwriter born in 1978. She is primarily known for her work with The Brilliant Green, a musical group of which she was the lead vocalist from 1995 to 2003. After the band's disbandment, she embarked on a solo career under the alias Tommy February6, characterized by a pop electronic and alternative rock sound. Her debut solo album, "Tommy february6", was released in 2004 and achieved great success in Japan. Among her most famous songs are "It's a Beautiful Day", "Love is My Soul" and "The World Is Mine". In 2007 she changed her stage name to Tommy Heavenly6, adopting a darker and more rock-oriented musical style. She has collaborated with several Japanese artists, including Ayumi Hamasaki and YUKI.
