Funker Vogt is a German electronic music project, active since 1995, known for its aggressive and industrial style. The founding duo consists of Jens Kastel (vocals) and Gerrit Thomas (programming). Over the years, the lineup has expanded to include Bjorn Bottcher (keyboards/manager), Frank Schweigert (live guitar) and Kai Schmidt (lyrics). The band's name, which in German means "Radio Operator Vogt", derives from the surname of a friend of the band who was a military radio operator.
