Unselfish the death is passed to someone new
Dreadful dreary night will set the tone
Night, this evil night, for on this night
It knows who'll be the one to die
Night, this evil night, for on this night
The grip of death's closer
Night, this evil night, for on this night
The waiting line to suffer
Night, this evil night, for on this night
It was always you who'd be the one to die!
Say your prayers and lock your doors from a visit from dread
The only chance you had is gone the visitor's here
Beware the errors in your life a visit from dread
Say your prayers and lock your doors the visitor's here
Say your prayers and lock your doors from a visit from dread
The only chance you had is gone the visitor's here
Beware the errors in your life a visit from dread
There are no prayers no doors to lock the victim is YOU!!!
Deceased is an American death/thrash metal band from Virginia, United States. Founded in 1984 by drummer and vocalist King Fowley, the band was the first to sign with Relapse Records. During their long career, they have released four studio albums through Relapse, along with numerous EPs, demos, and reissues of early demos. In 2003 Deceased left Relapse to sign with Thrash Corner, continuing to release material to this day. Although the band's style has changed over the years, transforming into a mix of thrash and heavy metal with harsher vocals compared to the raw death metal sound of their early works, the core of Deceased's sound remains centered on Fowley's powerful drumming and horror lyrics that are screamed, sometimes narrated, by the vocalist. The songs often pass through several changes in time and signature, while the guitars move quickly from riff to riff. Some of their most representative tracks include "Dark Chilling Heartbeat", "Fearless Undead Machines" and "Surreal Overdose".
