Korpiklaani is a Finnish folk metal band formed in Lahti in 1996, originally known as Shaman until 2003. The name Korpiklaani, meaning literally "the forest clan", reflects the folkloric influence and connection to nature present in their music. The band is known for an energetic and melodic sound that blends traditional Finnish elements, such as a cappella singing and folk instruments like the kantele, with heavy metal guitar riffs and powerful drumming. Among their most representative songs are "Runo", "Tulen alla" and "Vodka". Korpiklaani has released numerous albums, including "Tales from the Wild Hunt" (2003), "Spirit of the Forest" (2006) and "Manowar of the Forest" (2017).
