I hope this terrifies you
A moral suicide which burns inside you
And it never lets you out
Until you realize you're knee deep
Or buried alive in lies
Go, go, go believe
Its everything you need
Take everything for granted
Distorting every memory
When you take them as your own
'cause You like it when you know
Just what i'm thinking
I hope this terrifies you
A moral suicide which burns inside you
(and it never lets you out)
Until you realize your knee deep
Or buried alive in lies
This time I wont let you win
When you scream like a child
We Act like children
Who run from their problems
Blurring the visions we set in our sights
So open your eyes
(.....)
And The kids are screaming at the tops of their lungs
While they are pointing their fingers like they're loaded guns
Behind the curtains and backdrops
The fire sparks
If these bridges burn we all fall down
We all fall down
We all fall down
We all fall down
We all fall down
I hope this terrifies you
I know it terrifies you
I'll be ok just go just go
Just go just go
Let the bridges burn
We all fall down
Hidden In Plain View was a five-piece emo band from northern New Jersey. Formed in 2000, they disbanded in 2007. During their six and a half year run, the group released records with four different record labels (most notably the independent record label Drive-Thru Records) including two full-length albums and three EPs. Hidden in Plain View played numerous concert tours such as the Warped Tour and the Drive-Thru Records Invasion Tours in the United States, Europe and Japan. Their emo sound was characterized by catchy melodies, introspective lyrics and an infectious live energy. Some of their most representative songs include 'The World Is A Beautiful Place', 'I Don't Know What To Do With Myself' and 'This Is How We Live'.
