Blessid Union of Souls is an American rock band from Morrow, Ohio. Formed in 1990 by friends Jeff Pence and Eliot Sloan, the group gained popularity in the 1990s with a sound that blended elements of hard rock, alternative rock, and pop. Their debut album, "Blessid Union of Souls", released in 1997, sold over a million copies thanks to the success of the single "I Do (Cherish You)".
