Warzone was an American hardcore band from New York City, formed in 1982 on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. They are considered one of the founding bands of the New York hardcore sound and helped develop the hardcore skinhead style and the youth crew subgenre. Active for fifteen years with numerous lineup changes, their primarily hardcore sound was influenced by Oi! (they toured several times with The Business and played a cover of their song 'The Real Enemy'), traditional punk rock, and a heavy metal phase (present on their self-titled LP, Warzone).
