Chastisement is a Swedish hard rock band formed in 1993. The group has released three studio albums: *Alleviation of Pain* (1995), *...but Lost We Are* (1997) and *Live at Gamla Tingshuset, Ostersund* (2000). Notable members include Johan Klitkou, Marcus Edvardsson and Nils Fjellstrom. Chastisement is known for its powerful and aggressive sound, influenced by classic hard rock of the 1970s and heavy metal.
