Pendant la tournée qui a suivi, je cherchais une manière de dire à mon public que je le trouvais beau lorsqu'il se lâchait, un jour pendant un concert j'ai crié ” C'est beau la folie “, cette phrase est devenue le fil conducteur de l'album...
Cet album a été fait en neuf mois
Le rectangle de la pochette est tiré d'une vieille photo de ma grand-mère, sur cette photo elle posait dans les années 60 devant la maison de sa sœur à Gagny
"Trop beau” et “Plus de larmes” ont été enregistrés sur d'autres instrus, puis retravaillés par Vladimir Cauchemar à partir des a cappella
Katerine a écrit son refrain sur un dessin de sa nièce alors qu'il était en vacances en Bretagne, ce dessin représentait cinq doigts
“Le vrai moi” est une chanson clavier / voix que j'ai eu très envie de faire suite aux reprises acoustiques de FLIP
Dans le deuxième couplet de “ Dave Grohl ” je parle d'une fille que j'ai rencontrée en juillet dernier, on ne s'est embrassés que cette nuit-là parce qu'elle avait déjà quelqu'un dans sa vie. Peut-être qu'on aurait vécu une belle histoire, peut-être que je me suis un peu emballé, je n'aurai jamais la réponse à cette question…

Le morceau “Dans le livret” a été produit par moi-même en 2015 dans le studio de la 75ème session, il aura fallu trois ans, un petit filtre et surtout la guitare de Pierrick pour rendre ce morceau écoutable aha
À l'heure où j'écris ce texte nous sommes le 8 octobre 2018, il est 17h47 et c'est notre 43e jour consécutif à Pierrick et moi, enfermés dans son petit studio à Paris
On a vécu des moments de stress très intenses mais je crois qu'on se connaît bien maintenant, et puis on a réussi à le finir à temps, merci à lui, cet album est aussi le sien
Merci de m'avoir accepté comme je suis et de m'avoir fait confiance, merci à ma petite famille et à mes amis proches, dans lesquels je compte mon management, ceux qui réalisent mes clips et ceux qui m'accompagnent en tournée…
